I am now hot on her trail. Won
der where they were living from 1928-her death & him from then til after 1944? The city directory only covers SB,Highland, Colton...so they might have gone up to Big Bear area or...?
maybe her o
bit will shed light on that.
Willia m Harrison Rork and Harriet Luisa Williamson.
I have her born 7/20/1875 in Gr eensburg, Decatur, Co. Indiana.

Hi Sheryl,
Great t
o hear from you. I just knew there was a connection. I came across
your Rork family while searching the 1 900 census of Coffey county Kansas.
I came across a Harriet Rork that matched the
DOB of my Harriet
Williamson but was not able to prove it until I purcha sed the book,
"Angie Lives" through the Coffey County historical society. Thi s book
list family lines who li
ved in the township of strawn in Coffey County .
There was quite a bit of info on the Rork Family. The town no longer
exis t so dont get confused the city, "New Strawn." A dam was built in
that area a nd it is now under water. There is also another book titled
"Yesterdays tomor row." This book list events and newspaper articles on
the people of Strawn. M any of your R
orks are also listed in that book. I
would love to hear what you have on your family. I am sending an
attachment of what I have on the Rork F amily. Have you heard any stories
on whe
re Harriet's mother died? She is one person I cannot find. Take
care.
Oscar P.S. Sorry I didnt get back to you sooner. I was in
Sacramento and just returned home this evening.
