- On Tuesday, January 1, 2019, Marjorie Rust Crofts loving mother, grandmother and friend, passed away.
She was born on July 19, 1920 in Ephraim, Utah to Burton and Lillian Rust.
After graduating from Valley High School in Orderville.
She graduated from Dixie College with her teaching certificate and taught elementary school.
Later she graduated from BYU.
On April 23, 1943 she married John McFern Crofts in the St. George Temple.
They had six children: Muriel Menssen (Wolf), Sandra Holman (Wayne), Susan Robertson (Dave), John B. Crofts (Sherry), Forrest A. Crofts (Shirley), and Miriam Force (Stephen).
Her whole life was filled with service to her family, church and community. Besides writing poetry, her personal journals, she wrote letter, cards and thank you cards to friends and family.
Her hands were always busy crocheting, embroidering, quilting or sewing.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, two sisters, brother, son-in-law and grandson.
She is survived by her sister (Marilyn Murie),
6 children,
her 28 grandchildren
and 67 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019. 11:00 am.
At the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel in Bountiful Utah (1135 North 200 East).
A viewing will be held one hour before the service.
Burial will be at the Orderville Cemetery, on January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am.
She will be buried next to her husband and grandson.
